Christians ask earnestly, why do we need the Urantia Book when we already have the Bible?


Let's address some of those questions head on, and then conclude with a brief review of Paper 156, where Jesus shares instruction to his Apostles and Disciples about true spiritual living, overcoming doubt, and being a source of light in a world of darkness.

One of the more intriguing papers in the Urantia Book has to do with our Seraphic Planetary Government, and how, through the ministry of angels, the Most High rulers influence “the Kingdoms of Men.”

In the last section of Paper 114 we learn of a special group of human beings called The Reserve Corp of Destiny, individuals who serve a specific purpose, or will perform an extraordinary task that benefits society and ensures progress of the human race.

Jesus gave us specific instructions on how to end war and achieve global peace and good will.

In his Urmia Lectures, from Paper 134 Jesus spoke on Political Sovereignty, and the dangers contained therein, The Master also warns us what will happen as nations and governments become more powerful, eerily describing conditions as they they prevail on earth in the present age.
