Urantia Is Getting Around

0:20 Well, I've got some good news. The report from the Rancher Foundation presented by our dear friend MO Siegel, the President, and his letter 2026 on the overview of the past year of the Urantia Foundation and all the things that they're involved with. MO writes a great comment here. It's towards the end of his opening paragraph where he says I often reflect on the wisdom of the Contact Commission, the first people entrusted with stewarding the revelation to humanity. Their counsel was simple and enduring. Be patient. This project is larger than any of us.

Do not shrink from the responsibility of sharing the revelation wisely and be realistic in your expectations, remembering that lasting spiritual evolution unfolds steadily, not suddenly. And this is echoing what we were talking about in the previous podcast and looking back at the four epical revelations that preceded this one and the approach that the individuals involved in each of those epics and how they dealt with teaching the revelation, teaching revelatory truth to our fellows. The other great paragraph I want to say before we get underway in reviewing some of these numbers, MO writes, we are all deeply privileged to serve Michael as a steward of this revelation.

1:52 During these early years, few generations have the opportunity to participate in the growth of a revelatory project destined to transfigure humanity's spiritual course. When on the mansion worlds, we more fully grasp the significance of this revelation and its unfolding impact, we will look back with profound gratitude for being permitted to help lay its foundation. That is a privilege of eternal value. And 1 he says we will forever cherish. And I agree completely. He stated it beautifully. So how did we do?

2:32 How did the Arantia book do? As in the marketplace? According to the report from the Foundation 20, over almost 24,000 books were sold and that was a 7% increase from the year previous. There have been 53,600 downloads and that was 21% more than the previous. And then as far as books printed in other languages or in all languages, 29,000 books were printed in English, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish. Those are not small numbers. As far as outreach, there have been 961,000 visitors, unique visitors to urantia.org and there are 741,000 active users.

3:24 The top five visiting countries include the United States, Brazil, Mexico, Spain and Canada. 37,000 visitors to the Chinese section of the website in the final quarter of 2025, and there were 1600 free outreach books distributed. And this is interesting to me. 440 copies of The Untold Story of Jesus were sent to ministers in the United States. That is the planting of the seeds in a meaningful way. And in some of my conversations with folks Lutheran, particularly Episcopalian, they're a little bit more free thinking and not as rigid as you might find in the evangelical communities. And I, I think that I sense that there will be much more tolerance today than 20 or 30 years ago in many of these denominations where they would be open to the Jesus story. What I think we'll see over time is it more and more ministers will be integrating Urantia truths that are found about Jesus's life in Section 4.

4:40 See what else is significant to me? Oh, the education. You know, we talked sometimes about the Urantia Book Internet School and I've, I've taken a couple of courses and it's a wonderful interchange between fellow students of the Urantia Book and now they're offering them in nine languages. 53 courses are offered, 734 students have enrolled and I believe that's just from this year, 7 or 34. I, I could be wrong. If I'm wrong, someone let me know. Now what's real significant, if I can find it, is that they're going to do something which we've talked about on this program for quite some time, and it's an initiative, is to create a global cultural and educational center.

5:30 And So what I will do is reach out to the foundation and ask what that is. Creating and sustaining thousands of study groups is vital. MO says a publication mandate was presented to the early leaders, instructing thousands of study groups must be brought into existence and the book must be translated into many tongues. Thus will the book be in readiness when the battle for man's liberty is finally won and the world is once more made safe for the religion of Jesus and the freedom of mankind. Thanks to MO and really all the folks over at the Urantia Foundation for their tireless efforts to keep the book out there in the world. If you'd asked me 10 years ago, I I would have been concerned about the Urantia book not gaining ground. But there's just so much effort and energy and that's being put into it.
