Mind,Matter and Spirit

1:10 All right, we're back. Welcome to the Rancho Radio podcast. And we take a continuing look at Paper 12 and in this chapter, the final section of that paper having to do with the universe of universes. And in this discussion they bring to us the idea of mind, matter and spirit from Paper 12, Section 8. God is spirit, but paradise is not. The material universe is always the arena wherein takes place all spiritual activities. Spirit beings and spirit ascenders live and work on physical spheres of material reality. In that same section, the bestowal of cosmic force, the domain of cosmic gravity, is the function of the Isle of Paradise.

1:56 All original Force energy proceeds from Paradise, and the matter for the making of untold universes now circulates throughout the Master Universe in the form of a super gravity presence, which constitutes the force energy of pervaded space. Physical energy is the one reality that is true and steadfast in its obedience to universal Law. Only in their realms of creature volition has there been deviation from the divine paths and the original plans. Power and energy are the universe evidences of the stability, constancy and eternity of the central Isle of Paradise. From Paper 12, Section 8, it reads the bestowal of Spirit and the spiritualization of personalities. The Domain of spiritual gravity is the realm of the Eternal Son, the second person of the Trinity. But material minded man is naturally more familiar with the material manifestations of a physical nature than with the equally real and mighty operations of a spiritual nature, which are discerned only by the spiritual inside of the soul.

3:19 What paradise is to the physical creation and what the eternal sign is to the spiritual universe, the conjoint actor is to the realm of mind, the intelligent universe of material, morantial and spiritual beings and personalities. The conjoint actor reacts to both material and spiritual realities and therefore inherently becomes the universe minister to all intelligent beings, beings who may represent a union of both the material and spiritual phases of creation. The endowment of intelligence is the exclusive domain of the conjoint actor who thus becomes the partner of the spiritual mind and the substance of the material mind of the evolutionary creatures of time.

4:11 From Section 8 in Section 8 of Paper 12 we read Mind is the technique where spirit realities become experiential to creature personalities and in the last analysis, the unifying possibilities of even human mind. The ability to coordinate things, ideas and values is super material, though it is hardly possible for the material mind to comprehend the seven levels of relative cosmic reality. The human intellect should be able to grasp much of the meaning of three functioning levels of finite reality, which are matter organized energy, which is subject to linear gravity, except that it, as it is modified by motion and condition by mind.

5:01 Then there's mind, which is organized consciousness, which is not wholly subject to material gravity, and which becomes truly liberated when modified by Spirit, and then #3 Spirit Reality, the highest personal reality, True Spirit, is not subject to physical gravity, but eventually becomes the motivating influence of all evolving energy systems. Also from that same paper, Section 8. The bestowal of mind and the administration of Spirit are the work of the associate Persons of Deity, the Infinite Spirit and the Eternal Son. On Paradise.

5:42 The three energies, physical, mindful and spiritual, are coordinate. Spirit is the fundamental reality of the personality experience of all creatures. Because God is Spirit, Spirit is unchanging and therefore in all personality relations, which are experiential variables of progressive attainment 12/8 in cosmic evolution, matter becomes a philosophic shadow cast by mind in the presence of Spirit, luminosity of divine enlightenment. But this does not invalidate the reality of matter. Energy, mind. Matter and spirit are equally real, but they are not of equal value to personality and the attainment of divinity. Consciousness of divinity is a progressive spiritual experience.

6:35 And finally there's this from 12 Section 8. The brighter of the shining of the spiritual Father, the greater the shadow cast by the intervening mind upon its material investment in time. Man's body is just as real as mind or spirit, but in death both mind and spirit survive while a body does not. A cosmic reality can be non existent and personality experience. And so your Greek figure of speech material as the shadow of the more and real spirit substance, does have a philosophic significance. So what is reality?

7:17 The revelators tell us reality is expressible and experiential in mind matter and spirit. Matter is factually real, but it is also true. Spirit strives to dominate mind, even human mind, which exerts control and is dominant in the material world. In the same way, the Isle of Paradise doesn't control God, but rather the spirit mind of God is dominant over the Isle of Paradise and all things material. These are the thoughts to ponder when contemplating the inner association of the three aspects of reality. Think of this application.

7:58 You and I are material beings. We are also endowed with a mind that observes this physical reality, but it is the spiritual influence that allows us to assess value in material things and relationships and then later of the morontia realities of the next life. Now, as a closing note, the author of this particular paper, of whom I am quoting, is a perfector of wisdom. What is a Perfector of wisdom? They are Trinity Origin beings, 1 billion of them, who serve under the authority of the Ancients of Days, also of Paradise Origin, described in Paper 19 as a specialized creation designed to personify the wisdom of Divinity in the Super Universe, including our own, and they are wholly occupied with the administration of the Super Universe governments. In a crude form, I might describe them as Supreme Court clerks, but at a much higher in deeper level, serving the judicial branch of the divine courts of the heavenly spheres. That's sort of my mind and, and, and how I interpret a perfector of wisdom and this whole exercise. These concepts provide a glimpse of not only how reality is defined as three separate aspects of creation, but also an example of the great truths that lie before us as we continue our ascendant, God filled journey of
