About The Host
Jim Watkins was born and raised in Los Angeles and attended Columbia School of Broadcasting in 1982, the same year he discovered The Urantia Book at a B. Daltons bookstore on Hollywood Boulevard. He has been dedicated to his broadcast career and his Urantia book studies since that time, and went on to meet his beautiful wife Karin, and together, raised a family of one daughter, two sons and have a wonderful grand child.
Today, Jim and his family live in Southwest Florida near Ft. Myers and he continues to provide media and consulting services to some of the most popular radio personalities in America, while also producing a spiritually-themed podcast dedicated to teaching listeners about the Urantia Book.
Jim has also written and self-published three books, two on the Urantia Book (Exploring A New Revelation in 2015, The Gift in 2023, and Godless: How Secularism Will Destroy Society in 2023); Jim is a huge fan of popular music, classic television, cinema, and considers himself to be an expert on Beatles trivia, as well as being an amateur astronomer and student of history.
